develop to their full potential
Mission
ANPPCAN Zambia works with children, teachers, community leaders and other duty bearers to build their capacity, raise awareness, policy advocacy and change to prevent and address all forms of violence against children in Zambia
Philosophy
ANPPCAN Zambia believes government is the lead duty bearer in the protection and promotion of children’s rights. ANPPCAN Zambia and its network believes that a child and a community that are adequately sensitized and knowledgeable about children’s rights form an inclusive foundation up on which all forms of violence against children can sustainably be addressed. This is addressed through advocacy, child participation, building capacity of child rights advocates from communities, school and places of care, government and local and district based child rights promotion and protection structures and networking as well as provision of direct supports services such as educational requisites including Medicare to vulnerable children and victims of abuse including empowering caregivers with social securities in form of Income Generating Activities (IGA) for long term sustainability.
