The African Netiowork for Prevention and Protection aginst Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) Zambia has been implementing community based child priotection initiatives in nine (9) communities and schools in two districts in Northern  nine (9) With funancial support from Save the Children (SCS), ANPPCAN has empowered 8 communities in two districts, namely Chinsali and Kasama to improve child protection and surveilance in their resppective communities. THis is part of the main initiatives the organisation has been implementing with financial support from SCS since 2001.
